Houses, Gardens and other attractions
There are many National Trust properties nearby including Lanhydrock (famous for its gardens), Pencarrow House, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Trebah. Alternatively, cycle the Camel trail, visit the local Camel Valley Vineyard, explore the wilderness of Bodmin Moor or climb the steep trail to King Arthur’s castle at Tintagel.
Day Trips
The Eden project is approximately 45 minutes drive while the artists’ paradise of St Ives can be reached in about 1 ½ hours. Tresco and the Scilly Isles are also well worth a day trip.
